Consultation on legislative amendments and Department of Justice engagement in relation to Human Trafficking
In March 2011, the UK signed up to the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. The UK already complies with a number of requirements relating to legislation and law enforcement, however the Department of Justice in Northern Ireland must now introduce a number of legislative amendments to ensure full compliance. This consultation invites comments on these amendments
The consultation further invites comments on how the Department of Justice engages with non-government organisations and other group on human trafficking issues.
