Service Charges

AccessNI operates on a full cost recovery basis.  This means that AccessNI charges customers a fee for Disclosures in order to support the services it provides

There is a charge for every Disclosure Application except those Applications falling within the definition of a volunteer.

In addition, organisations must pay a one-off Registration Fee to enable them to use AccessNI’s services.

AccessNI charges for the following services:

  • Basic Disclosures (£26).
  • Standard Disclosures (£26).
  • Enhanced Disclosures (£30).
  • Registration of an organisation which includes the equivalent of managing Registered Body details and an Enhanced Check on the Lead Signatory (£150).
  • Registration of each Counter-signatory (£10).

AccessNI does not charge for:

  • Disclosure Checks for volunteers who meet the criteria.
  • Advice and assistance to Applicants and Registered Bodies.
  • Removal of Counter-signatories.

AccessNI reserves this right to amend this pricing structure.

How Registered Bodies pay for Disclosures:

  • Registered Bodies (RBs) must pay for disclosures 'On Account'.
  • An invoice will be issued at the end of each transacting period.  This will give the details of every application processed and the signatory for each.
  • Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days of the date of the invoice - RBs should endeavour to settle invoices by electronic means.
  • AccessNI reserves the right to review the registraton status of organisations that, after a reasonable period of time, fail to pay outstanding amounts owed.
  • Lead and Counter-signatory's registered status can be removed for payment defaults.
