Publication Scheme

Welcome to the Publication Scheme of the Department of Justice (DOJ) including its five executive agencies.  Further information regarding the functions of the DOJ and its agencies can be found on the About us section of our website.

This publication scheme is a guide to the information that DOJ and its executive agencies routinely publishes or intends to publish. It meets DOJ’s responsibilities under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and complies with the Model Publication Scheme produced by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for all public authorities. The scheme provides information under seven class headings, each providing areas of information which we believe are of public interest and offer clarity in respect of our role and functions.

All information on the publication scheme is free to access and use, however a small fee may be charged should you request any of the information in hardcopy. You will be informed if there are any charges prior to release of the information. Read more about our publication scheme and charges
